6. Final report: What do the measured values mean?
After the diagnostic measurement has been successfully completed, the system processes the collected data and generates a detailed protocol.
- Report delivery: The complete document will arrive within a few minutes at the e-mail address you use to sign in to the app.
- Archive in the app: You will also find the report saved directly in your user account in the EVpie app, where you can return to it over the next 12 months.
The final report contains a complete summary of all the parameters read from the vehicle’s control unit, supplemented with graphical representations for better clarity. The most important monitored values include:
- SoH (State of Health): Expresses the percentage ratio of the battery’s currently available capacity to its capacity when the vehicle was brand new. This value has a direct impact on the maximum range. The report therefore also includes a model calculation of the real range in various conditions (city, motorway, summer operation, winter operation), tailored to the specific type of your vehicle and its current SoH.
- Cell balancing: Assesses whether all the battery cells are evenly charged and balanced. Significant voltage deviations between cells in static mode may indicate hidden degradation or damage to a specific battery module.
- Total energy (battery operating hours / number of cycles): An indicator that measures the total amount of energy the battery has received and delivered during its operation so far. It provides an objective view of the actual wear of the battery regardless of the vehicle’s age.
- Cell balancing in the dynamic test: Monitors the stability and behaviour of the cells under high current load (during sharp acceleration). This parameter shows the so-called “stiffness” of the cells and helps reveal weak points of the battery that do not show up when the vehicle is simply standing still.
- Mileage verification: Based on the total energy transferred by the battery, the system back-calculates the vehicle’s expected mileage. By comparing this calculation with the odometer reading, the report can indicate possible unauthorised odometer tampering.
