2. What will you need for the measurement?
Before you start the measurement itself, make sure you have all the necessary components ready. For the test to run successfully and the report to be generated, you will need:
- A smartphone: A mobile phone running Android or an iPhone (iOS) with a sufficiently charged battery and an active internet connection.
- The EVpie mobile app: The app is available free of charge on Google Play (for Android) and the App Store (for Apple).
- The EVpie EVP-1 OBD2 diagnostic adapter: The device you received from us.
- A vehicle: The electric car on which you plan to perform the battery health test.
- Purchased credits: Make sure you have purchased enough credits in your user account in the app to perform the planned tests.
- A cable reduction adapter (Tesla vehicles only): If you are testing a Tesla vehicle, you will need a special cable adapter to connect the diagnostic adapter to the car. For other car brands, this cable is not needed.
